Stupidly Simple

Terms of Service

Last updated October 31, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and MARS Creations, Inc. (“we”) for the Stupidly Simple apps and the sites at stupidlysimple.app and stupidlysimpleapps.com. Stupidly Simple is the brand. MARS Creations, Inc. is the company that sells the bundle, and the name that appears on the Stripe charge.

Buying the bundle or downloading the apps means you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not buy or download them. How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.

The bundle

The Stupidly Simple Bundle is a one-time purchase of $19 USD. There is no subscription, and no separate fee to upgrade the apps included in the bundle.

Today the bundle includes:

  • Tracker for Mac
  • Clipper for Mac
  • Marker for Mac

Tracker for iPhone is included when it ships, as described on the site. Every future Stupidly Simple app is included for people who own this bundle, the way the site markets it: when we release a new Stupidly Simple app, you get it without paying again.

We decide what to build, when it ships, and whether a particular idea becomes a Stupidly Simple app. The purchase is not a promise that a specific unannounced app will exist, or that we will release new apps forever. Apps already listed as part of the bundle stay part of what you bought. If we stop making new apps, you keep the ones you already have.

The license

When your payment succeeds, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the Stupidly Simple apps covered by the bundle. The license is for your own personal use, on Apple silicon Macs you use that meet the requirements below.

You may install the apps on the Macs you personally use. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the apps or your download links, and you may not share one purchase so that other people can get the bundle.

The apps are licensed, not sold. You own your content: your cards, clips, and Markdown files. We own the apps.

What you need to run them

The Mac apps require Apple silicon (M1 or newer).

  • Tracker and Clipper need macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
  • Marker needs macOS 13 Ventura or later.
  • Tracker for iPhone, when it ships, will need iOS 17.

Intel Macs are not supported. Please check these requirements before you pay.

Downloads

After you pay, Stripe returns you to a download page on stupidlysimple.app, and we email the same download links to the address you gave at checkout. Keep that email. That page is also where later versions, and future apps in the bundle, are posted for buyers.

Updates install inside each Mac app. You do not pay again for updates to apps in the bundle.

Acceptable use

Use the apps for lawful personal work. Do not disrupt the site, attack the checkout, or hand your download links to people who did not buy the bundle. Do not remove copyright notices or present the apps as your own product.

No warranty beyond what the law requires

The apps and the site are provided “as is.” We build them carefully, and we want them to be reliable. We do not warrant that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, except where the law says a warranty cannot be disclaimed.

Some places do not allow implied warranties to be excluded. In those places, any implied warranty lasts only as long as the law requires.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MARS Creations, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages, or for lost profits, arising out of the apps, the site, or these terms.

Our total liability for a claim relating to the bundle is limited to the amount you paid for it ($19), except where the law does not allow that limit.

You are responsible for your own files. The apps keep content on your Mac and, for Tracker, in your iCloud Drive. Keep your own backups.

The website

The site explains the apps and sells the bundle. We may change the pages. We will not take the download page away as a way to strand people who already paid. If a link moves, we use the email from checkout to reach you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and the new version will be on this page. If you already bought the bundle, a change will not take away the license you have for apps that were in the bundle when you bought it. Downloading or using the apps after an update means you accept the new terms for that ongoing use.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Nevada have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these terms, except where the law where you live requires a consumer dispute to be heard somewhere else. Nothing here limits rights that the law says you cannot waive.
